There isn't much to say on the topic of snatch thieves that hasn't been already said.
Last Friday was my sister-in-law's turn to have her handbag snatched in broad daylight. Estimated loss: new mobile phone, cash, jewelry, ID card, driver's license and, of course, her handbag. In addition, she was unbalanced and fell, sustaining minor scratches to her hands and arms. Luckily that was the extent of the damage and loss but it ate up her time, doctor's visit (with the unavoidable tetanus jab), the hassle of having to reapply for official papers and the trauma of the experience.
Her nieces wanted to have a KFC treat so this also means to many of you who still frequent this establishment to be more vigilant about your surroundings as much as what you decide to eat.
Is RM3000 too much to pay for a KFC meal? In more ways than one...
